Frequently Asked
Questions
Q How can I book my trial and wedding date in your diary?
A I can secure a date 3 months
before depending on availability on receipt of a 25% deposit. Please
complete the Booking
Form
Q What if I decide to cancel my booking?
A Please notify me of
cancellation by phone as soon as you can. Your deposit cannot be refunded.
Q How long does it take to complete hair and make-up?
A It can vary, an estimate
would be 1 hour for hair and 1 hour for make-up. 1 hour spare time either
side. This depends on designs and ideas. I am available for very early
starts.
Q Do you do the hair and make-up?
A Yes, but this depends on the
number of guests or bridesmaids, this will be discussed. If it isn't
possible, another artist will be needed, at an extra charge.
Q What if I need to re-touch my make-up during the day?
A Your make-up has been
applied to last all day, however it is always recommended to carry the
essentials with you, like lipstick and powder.
Q Would I need to purchase
these essential products, or do you supply them on the day?
A You will be advised on the day of your
trial what essential products you would need. Your can purchase these
products if you wish, as I do not supply them.
Q What brushes do you use? A My brushes are mainly MAC.
Q What areas do you cover?
A I live in London and can
cover most areas within reasonable driving distance. Long distance, outer
London and other regions of the UK will involve an extra charge.
Q What if you are ill on my wedding day?
A In this unlikely event, I
will recommend an alternative artist who will visit you before your
wedding date.
Q Do you come to my home on the day of the trial?
A Yes. Also your trial should
be 1 month apart from your wedding date, and payment should be made on
that day.
Q I was considering spray tan before my wedding day?
A This is fine, but please
keep me informed as foundation and colour palette will change.
Q I'm not sure what I would like done?
A The artist has plenty of
experience and guidance is there for you.
Q How many people can be made over?
A Yourself, mother in law and
3 bridesmaids. Any more than this an extra artist will be needed at an
extra charge.
Q Do you come to my home on the day of the wedding?
A Your home, venue, or hotel.
Q Which cosmetics do you use?
A As I work in the industry I
have carefully hand chosen the best cosmetics available. Being a M·A·C
Make-up artist I tend only to use what I know will give the best results.
My main kit is M·A·C, known for 100% pigment and lasting hold all day.
M·A·C do not test on animals, but test on tiny grafts of human skin.
Products are irritants tested and some do contain lanolin. I also use Screenface, Kryolan,
Dermablend, Mary Kay, Iman, Vanity Fair, Nars
and other prestige products. I supply everything on the day.
Q When should I pay the final balance?
A The price will be agreed before hand,
and only cash will be accepted on the day of your wedding.
